CARES’s mission is to end homelessness, not serve it. Other Las Vegas organizations serve homelessness with meals and shelter, C.A.R.E.’s provides a unique array of services that promote self-sufficiency with the ultimate goal of breaking an individual’s cycle of homelessness. There is no doubt that other charitable organizations in Las Vegas are providing necessary services to meet some needs of our homeless population, however we have found critical gaps in services that provide a sustainable path out of homelessness. The unique services that C.A.R.E. provides lifts our clients out of homelessness by providing personal, compassionate case management in our centrally-located facility.
