At C.A.R.E. Complex, we believe that homelessness is not a permanent situation. Every day, we work hand-in-hand with those we serve, empowering them to take the steps necessary to transition out of homelessness and into stability and independence. Our services range from housing assistance and employment readiness to basic needs like hygiene products and access to clean water, helping our clients regain the dignity and hope that every human being deserves.

Our Mission
Ending Homelessness, One Step at a Time
As a Southern Nevada-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, C.A.R.E. Complex is fully committed to fostering responsibility, accountability, and self-reliance in every individual who walks through our doors.
Our mission is to serve homeless and working individuals from vulnerable communities with dignity, providing practical tools and critical resources needed to permanently overcome and prevent homelessness.
We are a fully inclusive organization, welcoming everyone who needs our help. Whether someone needs assistance with housing, employment, or simply a place to get their mail or store their belongings, we are here to offer a hand up, not a handout. Through our programs, we give people the tools they need to stand on their own feet.
Community Partner Highlight of the Month – August 2026
Nicholas Moody

This month, we are proud to highlight Nick Moody. He is a dedicated Las Vegas photographer. Nick generously uses his time and talent for our community. He captures the stories of our community with deep respect.
Nick’s journey started long ago. In 1978, he received his first film camera for Christmas. He was only 10 years old. He was instantly hooked. Nick still shoots film today. He even operates his own home darkroom.
Seven years ago, his work took on a new purpose. Nick met a local barber giving free haircuts on the streets. He began photographing the barber’s work. Through this, Nick discovered a passion for the displaced community. He loves engaging one-on-one with people. He focuses entirely on natural, unposed photos.
A Partnership Built on Authenticity
This passion eventually brought Nick to CARE Complex. He quickly fell in love with our organization. Over the years, Nick has become a vital partner. He captures our major events and generously shares his photos to help amplify our mission.
Bringing Stories to Light
Nick continues to innovate. He recently introduced aerial photos and videos of the area. This provides a broader view of our environment.
This fall, he plans to launch a new portrait initiative. He is inspired by LA photographer Jordan Verdin. This project will highlight both the challenges and the immense resilience of our clients.
We are incredibly grateful for Nick’s consistency and unique vision. His work builds empathy. It makes our entire community stronger. Thank you, Nick, for your unwavering support!
