Michael Swecker

Michael Swecker, a third-generation Nevadan, has been a leader in Southern Nevada’s real estate and community service for over two decades. Since earning his real estate license in 1999, he has specialized in commercial real estate, brokering and acquiring thousands of acres across Nevada and Arizona. His expertise includes build-to-suit projects, leasebacks, and sales to national QSRs. In 2005, Michael founded Homeless Helpers dba CARE Complex, a nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness. In 2014, the organization transformed an abandoned building in the Corridor of Hope into a vital resource center at 200 Foremaster, Las Vegas. Today, CARE Complex serves thousands monthly, providing a medical clinic, bus passes, rent vouchers, clothing, food, hygiene supplies, showers, and locker storage. Michael’s commitment to real estate and community advocacy continues to make a lasting impact in Southern Nevada.

Wayne Tew

Wayne Tew is a distinguished financial executive with nearly three decades of experience leading one of Nevada’s largest credit unions. As the former President and CEO of Clark County Credit Union, he played a critical role in its growth, overseeing financial operations, strategic planning, and community-driven initiatives. Wayne has served on numerous industry boards and advisory councils, bringing extensive expertise in financial management, organizational leadership, and investment strategies. He has also been actively involved as an angel investor with the Vegas Valley Angels, supporting startups and fostering economic development. His commitment to community service extends to his roles as a Board Member of Hope for Prisoners, Advisory Member for BYU’s International Center for Law and Religion Studies, and former Chairman of the Board for the International Organization for the Family. Wayne’s financial acumen and strategic vision contribute significantly to the CARE Complex’s long-term sustainability and impact.

Latoya Johnson
Chief Executive Offer | CARE Complex

Latoya Johnson is the Chief Executive Officer of CARE Complex and a respected leader in business development, construction management, and nonprofit strategy. With two decades of experience in real estate and organizational leadership, she specializes in strategic growth, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement. Latoya has served in leadership roles with Project 150’s Youth Council Scholarship Program, Village of Becoming, Target for Homelessness, and the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association’s Young Professionals Council. For the past eight years, she has mentored students through the College of Southern Nevada Promise Scholarship Program. Her commitment to sustainable growth and community-driven impact continues to shape her leadership and the mission of CARE Complex.

Nathan Cartwright
Director of Business Development | Helix Electric

Nathan Cartwright brings over 15 years of industry experience to his role as Director of Business Development at Helix Electric, where he has driven strategic growth and team collaboration since August 2019.
A seasoned leader in construction and electrical services, he’s known for building strong teams and delivering impactful solutions. As part of his role, Nathan serves as a lifetime member of the Nevada Contractors Association (NCA) Board of Directors, sitting on the Executive Committee from 2021 to 2024 and acting as President in 2023. Appointed by Governor Lombardo to the Nevada Board of Health, he represents Engineering and Construction. His leadership includes chairing NCA’s Ambassador Committee (2014) and CLC Committee (2017-2018), where he led over 100 volunteers from more than 50 companies in a $300k renovation of CARE Complex in 2017. Passionate about rallying the private sector to tackle homelessness in Southern Nevada, Nathan blends strategic vision with hands-on community dedication.

Jennifer Wikler

Board Term: 2019 | Secretary/Treasurer
Jennifer Wikler brings a diverse background in business strategy, marketing, and healthcare to the CARE Complex board.
With extensive experience in corporate and nonprofit sectors, she has worked in marketing leadership roles, including as Marketing Director for UNLV’s development company CDMC, where she played a key role in strategic planning and economic development initiatives for the UNLV Harry Reid Research and Technology Park. Jennifer has also worked as a technical writer and business consultant, leveraging her expertise in communications and operations to drive organizational success. She later transitioned into healthcare, earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Coaching from Arizona State University, and currently serves as a Health Coach at Wikler Family Practice, where she focuses on patient education and wellness. Her strong analytical skills, operational expertise, and passion for community service make her an invaluable member of the CARE Complex board, ensuring sound financial oversight and program sustainability.

John Fiore has lived in Las Vegas for over 30 years and brings with him a deep passion for serving the homeless community. Originally from Long Island, NY, John has spent the past 25+ years actively supporting the homeless population donating his time, resources, and voice to advocate for those in need. Professionally, John is a top-producing real estate agent with Simply Vegas, where he and his team have successfully served clients for the past six years. His strong community ties and commitment to excellence have made him a well-respected leader in the industry. His compassion, leadership, and dedication to service make him a natural fit for the values and mission of CARE Complex. As we continue to intentionally build an active and engaged board, I truly believe John would bring both heart and hands to help drive our organization forward. Chelsey Kuzyk, SHRM-CP

Chelsey Kuzyk is a strategic human resources executive with more than 15 years of progressive leadership across hospitality, gaming, and higher education.
She currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources for MGM Resorts International, where she leads HR operations and culture strategy for Bellagio and Park MGM. Known for her expertise in talent development, employee engagement, and organizational change, Chelsey partners with executive teams to drive people-first solutions that improve both employee experience and business performance.
Prior to joining MGM Resorts in 2021, Chelsey led enterprise-wide talent management and crisis response initiatives at Boyd Gaming, overseeing HR operations for a 20,000-employee organization across 11 states. Her career began in education, where she rose to National Director of Career Services at DeVry University, supporting campuses nationwide with workforce readiness programs and leadership development.
Chelsey holds a Master of Arts in Education, Bachelor of Arts in Film Production, and is a Certified Executive Coach.

Anna Stewart Billings is a passionate advocate for women and children, blending her career in luxury fashion with deep community involvement.
As the general manager of the Anne Fontaine
boutique at Caesars Palace, she leads the top-performing store globally, driven by her
competitive spirit and commitment to excellence.
Beyond retail, Anna is known for producing high-end fashion shows to benefit local charities.
Her philanthropic work includes support for St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, Best Buddies, Hope
for Prisoners, and the American Cancer Society. Named one of the Top 100 Women in Las Vegas
three times, she received the 2019 Best Buddies Champion of the Year award.
A firm believer in second chances and community empowerment, Anna brings her drive,
creativity, and heart to every cause she supports including her role on the CARE Complex board.
