A Place at the Table for Everyone
The Heart of the Community Table
At CARE Complex, the Community Table program ensures that vulnerable individuals have reliable access to hot, nutritious meals in an environment rooted in dignity, consistency, and community.
Each week, an average of 2,000 meals are served by a network of compassionate volunteers and partner organizations. But it’s about more than just a meal—each plate served represents connection, care, and hope.
How It Works
Consistent Hunger Relief You Can Count On
Partner organizations commit to serving meals on set days and times, creating a dependable routine our clients can trust.
Consistency fosters stability, trust, and dignity for those navigating the uncertainty of homelessness and poverty.
Every meal served is a stepping stone toward building relationships and encouraging engagement with CARE’s broader services.
Standing in the Gap
Located on Foremaster Lane, known as the Corridor of Hope in Downtown Las Vegas, CARE Complex stands apart.
- While many neighboring agencies limit meal services to registered clients or program participants, the Community Table is open to all.
- No requirements. No conditions. Just a welcoming space offering immediate hunger relief.
- This low-barrier, inclusive approach ensures that no one is turned away when they need a meal the most.
- By first addressing the basic need of hunger, we help individuals feel seen, respected, and more likely to seek additional support on their journey toward stability.
