Mail Services

Overview

The Mail Service at Care Complex provides individuals experiencing homelessness or transitional housing challenges with a secure mailing address. This service ensures that clients can receive important correspondence such as job applications, government documents, and personal mail.

Eligibility

  • Must be currently experiencing homelessness or transitional housing challenges.
  • Must complete an intake form and be approved for Care Complex services.

Registration

  • Register in person by filling out a mail service form and presenting valid photo identification.
  • Agree to adhere to the policies outlined during registration.

Policy

  • Clients are required to check their mail regularly.
  • If mail is not picked up within 120 days, it will be stamped “Return to Sender” and returned to USPS.
  • Access to mail is restricted to designated hours unless prior arrangements are made.

Locker Storage

Overview

The Locker Service at Care Complex provides individuals experiencing homelessness with a secure location to store their personal belongings and important documents, ensuring safety and accessibility.

Eligibility

  • Must be currently experiencing homelessness and actively seeking or maintaining employment.
  • Must complete an intake form and be approved for Care Complex services.

Registration

  • Register in person by filling out a locker service form, providing valid photo identification, and receiving an assigned locker number.
  • Clients will receive a copy of the registration form for their records.

Policy

  • Lockers are to be used for personal belongings only; storing drugs, alcohol, or illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
  • Lockers must be accessed regularly.
  • If a locker is not accessed within 90 days, the following actions will be taken:
    • A call and email will be sent as a reminder at the 90-day mark.
    • If no response is received within 30 days of the 90-day notice, the locker will be cleared, and items will be discarded or donated.
  • Clients must present photo identification during access hours.
